A couple of weeks ago I went to the print workshop to screenprint my new Calypso design and look who I bumped into…

Only 2 weeks to go until the busy Diamond Jubilee weekend, where I will be at the Crikey Vintage Fair and the Exmouth Festival. Hope to see you and the sunshine there! Love C xx

Spring update

March 28th, 2012 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

Just a quick update to let you know what I’ve have been up to for the past 2 months +

Mainly I have been busy with various projects ~ and missing the printmaking at Double Elephant. Hope to redress the balance soon though.

Back in February I donated 2 prints to CF2.org which raised £210 at a charity auction. Happy I could donate to such a great cause, check out their website !

I have edited my online shops, added some new products/designs and discontinued others. I have a offer on greeting cards ~ £10 mix n match pack and there is also a sale in my Etsy shop !

This weekend I will be at The Craft Hub‘s spring fayre ‘Birdsong & Blossom’… a lovely event for local craft makers in beautiful Topsham.

Then I will be working towards to the beginning of June… my 1st Crikey fair on the 2nd then on the 3rd I will be helping organise the sand sculpture & pavement art competition for the Exmouth Festival again. Another great event!

Have a sunny Easter, love C xx

Hello buyers!

My current situation of a busy shop and two young children leaves me little time away from the business so unfortunately I am unable to show my product range at trade shows such as Top Drawer, Spring Fair etc at this stage.

All my current range can be viewed on the shop page and I have set up an online ordering system for the trade here, if however you wish for me to post you samples of cards, price list etc please contact me with your shop name & address etc, and let me know which designs you like ~ to claireclose@yahoo.co.uk You can also order via this email address.

I am able to do the occasional retail event, so if you are in the area do come and say hello!

Thanks for looking.

Boo!

October 21st, 2011 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

Hello,

Autumn is here and once again it has been very busy at the shop and studio.

I am really pleased to be accepted onto notonthehighstreet.com! I am have been busy uploading my products with the new photos and it will be activated next week hopefully. Originals can still be found in my Etsy store though.

I have also been working on a print for the 20:20 Hot Bed press print exchange. The idea is that you make a limited edition run of 25 prints, and then you get 20 in return from various artists who are also participating. I decided to use my ‘Ruby’ monoprint and turn it into a colour screenprint. Prints and cards of ‘Ruby’ are now available to buy from the eShop.

I’m also preparing for some events this Christmas, firstly I am exhibiting at the ‘Cafe Etc…’ along with 2 other printmakers from the Double Elephant workshop, Birgit and Ali. This event will be on 3rd Dec, during the Christmas Cracker in Exmouth Strand. Secondly I will be at the Unique Boutique Art Market at Exeter Phoenix on Thursday 8th & 15th Dec 5-9pm  and also Saturday 10th Dec 11am-4pm. Hope to see you there!

Happy hallowe’en! xx

A/W sneak peek

September 21st, 2011 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

To be honest I didn’t get much printing done over the summer holidays, but one afternoon Ollie and I did spend at the workshop doing a childrens t-shirt printing course. Check out his Penguin Keys band t-shirt! Cool eh?

Anyway it is back to school/work and I’ve been busy with new designs which I will upload soon, here is a sneak peek of one of them!

Very excited about my new product photos thanks to Julian @anotherplanet. You can see some of them in the eShop. I will be uploading some more soon.

Summer holidays

July 22nd, 2011 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

Summer holidays are here!

A big to-do list still but I have to keep 2 children entertained, so lots of evenings on the laptop or out at the print workshop beckon.

This week I added some more originals to my Etsy shop, a vintage & fruitcake range. I’ve also changed the site shop a bit, prices and some other photos.

Also check out our summer holiday canvas competition at Re:solution
